Ukraine Facility Platform

Ensuring stable economic growth in Ukraine is crucial for both the country and the European Union. A resilient Ukraine is poised to become a valuable partner for the EU, actively participating in the implementation of strategic goals and policies aimed at strengthening the European community.

The Ukraine Facility Platform – a project aimed at nurturing a sustainable future for the mutual growth of the EU and Ukraine. This collaborative project was initiated by two European non-governmental think tanks: Center for Human Capital (Ukraine, Kyiv) and the Institute for Global Transformation (EU, Brussels) with the support of Mission of Ukraine to the EU.

Mission

Fostering a sustainable future for the mutual growth of the EU and Ukraine.

Goals

  • Promote Ukraine’s economic self-sufficiency and develop robust regulations in line with the Copenhagen criteria
  • Develop a strategic approach to key growth areas with the involvement of all stakeholders in active dialogue with the EU and other international partners
  • Bring practical success through the identification and delivery of projects to foster economic growth and investment in key areas

Strategy

  • Refining. Key areas for shaping Ukraine’s economic growth, emphasizing its strengths and untapped potential. Identifying mutual synergies for Ukraine and the EU members resulting from Ukraine’s integration
  • Development. Sectoral strategies for fostering cooperation and integrating Ukrainian businesses into the EU economy while simultaneously promoting the development of European businesses in Ukraine
  • Implementation. Optimal methods and approaches for establishing a systematic dialogue with the EU members on institutional and business levels. Identification of projects for economic integration on a partnership basis.

Round tables

One of the integral components of The Ukraine Facility Platform strategy involves holding round table discussions. Иustained and open dialogue among the business sector, civil society and authorities will expedite the achievement of our objectives.

The inaugural round table took place on the 15th of December 2024 in Brussels and was dedicated to the topic of energy.

2024 Economic Growth International Forum

Economic Growth International Forum is scheduled for February 2024. It is an exclusive two-days invitation-only event organized by the UAFP with the support of the mission of Ukraine to the EU.
